8 and 2/3 Days!

Until I get to Edmonton! Not long now, it seems. How's about that?! Yay Canadian stuffs! I get Smarties and real iced tea and real banking systems that work and an actually good clothing store (yay Reitmans!)...!!! I'm very much looking forward to seeing Andy again (yay!) cause it feels like it's been too long, and I'm also looking forward to celebrating my birthday with two lovely women, Claire & Katie, and all the people who will be present there (you're all invited, by the way, if you're reading this. I've heard it might be in Claire's backyard, but no one's confirmed that yet), and I'm looking forward to seeing Jacqui and James again in S'Toon, meeting new people down in Regina (yay!!!), and then sadly coming back to Edmonton and flying out :(.

That is my big update. I am so looking forward to coming back to Canada for a little bit.

Peace,
Jane

Jane I know we can't wait to see you here in Saskatoon. Can't wait to meet Andy (who i've lead a lot on from you Jane) and also see my new walking staff too.

Jacqui was telling me that she missed a word on her comment here so it didn't have the right meaning. She meant to say "You don't have Smarties down there?"

We might have to ask someone for a case of Smarties for Christmas. :-P

*sigh* Nope, no Smarties. They're an English product and are not sold here unless in specialty stores. Oddly enough, there is an English specialty store just up the road from me, but as they're -specialty-, they're more expensive than one would find in Canada. So nope, no Smarties. :(

Woo hoo! See you Friday at lunch (just after I finish my retreat)! Any ideas about where to go?

We're planning on eating at the college. There's no cafeteria right now though, so we'll bring sandwiches or something.

Enjoy the trip Jane. I'd imagine that as good as warm winters are, home is always home. Will you be blogging when you are up here or are you going to wait until you are back home? Either way, we need pictures!! God bless :)
